Granite City Electric was founded in 1923 in the Granite City of Quincy, Massachusetts. For 83 years we have served electrical contractors and home owners, with the finest electrical products backed by knowledgeable professionals with many years of experience in electrical and lighting products, design, and contracting. From our roots in Eastern Massachusetts we have expanded into 4 other New England states, serving thousands of electrical contractors and the general public from 24 convenient locations and distribution centers.

Granite City has flourished in the age of the home improvement superstore by listening to what our customers tell us they need and providing them with products and services that deliver outstanding quality and value. Service, support, and the expertise and dedication of our employees have always been key ingredients of our success, and we are grateful for the contributions of our excellent staff and managers.

In 2004 we entered into a long-term partnership with the Boston Red Sox organization. Today we are the “Official Distributor of Electrical Supplies to the Boston Red Sox”. We are proud to be associated with an organization as rich in history and tradition as the Red Sox and we share many of the core values that have helped this organization to be successful for so many years.
