Kid's Club First Pitch Winner!

Granite City Electric Supply Company is pleased to announce that 9-year old Nick Gendron of Wilmington, MA (Photo at the right) won the Granite City "Kids Club" honor of throwing the ceremonial first pitch at the June 18, 2005 Red Sox game. As young Nick walked to the mound he was cheered on by close to one hundred friends, family members and customers of Granite City Electric. Nick's father, Charlie Gendron of C.G. Electric in Wilmington said, "nick is a huge fan of the Red Sox. What a great thrill this has been for all of us"
Granite City Electric sponsors a "Kids Club" for customers' children. Each month during the baseball season, all enrolled children receive a sports themed gift. Each entry was put into a raffle for the opportunity to be on the mound at Fenway Park for the Juen 18th game between the Red Sox and Pirates.
