WEEI/NESN JIMMY FUND RADIO-TELETHON


- - Company donates $5,000 to the Jimmy Fund

Quincy, MA – August 2005

Chairman and CEO of Granite City Electric Supply Company, Phyllis P. Godwin, participated in the WEEI-NESN Radio Telethon to benefit the Jimmy Fund on Friday, August 26, 2005. Granite City Electric sponsored the “noon hour” of the broadcast during which time Phyllis Godwin was interviewed by Dale Arnold and Michael Holly of WEEI Dale & Holly Show. Ms. Godwin and John Rudicus (Sullivan & McLaughlin Companies) appeared on air with NESN Host Tom Caron. Sullivan & McLaughlin Companies matched Granite City Electric’s donation of $5,000. The event raised $2,358,961 for cancer research.

“The Jimmy Fund Clinic is a place where children with cancer and their families find hope.” said Phyllis P. Godwin, Chairman and CEO of Granite City Electric. “We are proud to support the world’s premier center for pediatric cancer treatment and research.”

Steve Helle, President and COO of Granite City Electric Supply Company, commented “Our Company remains committed to supporting the Jimmy Fund in finding a cure for childhood cancer. We recently raised over $7,000 to benefit “Joshua’s Run” for the Jimmy Fund.”
