Quincy, MA - Granite City Electric Supply Company, New England’s leading independent electrical distributor, hosted the Red Sox MLB World Series Trophy at their Plymouth branch on February 11th. The customer event drew participants from as far away as Springfield, MA and Nashua, NH.
GCE converted a conference room into its own version of a game day Yawkey Way. While attendees waited to get their photographs taken with the trophy they were entertained by Tony and his capuchin monkey Coco and Red Sox’s own Wally the Green Monster. Kathryn Tappen, host of NESN’s Granite City Electric Bruins Overtime Live show, stopped by to sign autographs. Hot dogs, peanuts, popcorn and pretzels were on the menu and cool prizes were raffled off including GPS navigation units and Red Sox tickets. Entries were also taken for an authentic set of two Fenway Park bleacher seats that will be raffled off on the day of the Red Sox 2008 home opener game.
