Description

Use the Bridgeport 240-SR 1/2" EMT Steel Red Coupling to connect two lengths of red EMT conduit in emergency circuits, fire alarm and security system applications. The EMT coupling features a durable, lead-free red thermosetting paint that is color-coded to provide easy identification for users. Operators can ground or bond red EMT using this coupling. The steel body is painted for identification and corrosion resistance. Taping the coupling creates a concrete tight seal to prevent the entrance of concrete aggregate into the raceway. This EMT coupling is furnished with tri-drive slot/Phillips/Robertson head screws which ensure that the connection between the two lengths of EMT conduit stays in place. This EMT coupling meets Nema Standard: FB-1 and UL Standard: UL-514B and can also be used with aluminum EMT.
