Description

Use Bridgeport’s 595-DCI2 Mighty-Seal® 3/8" Insulated PVC Jacketed MC and TECK Cable Connector to join PVC jacketed MC cable (parking deck/lot cable) or TECK cable to an electrical box or enclosure. The heavy-duty, reinforced die cast zinc body is both durable and corrosion resistant. To connect, simply strip 7/8" to 1" of the jacket from the end of the cable. Then, loosen the nut and push the cable into the connector until the cable reaches the end stop. Retighten the nut for a rain-tight connection. Knockout gasket provides a positive seal at a 1/2" knockout (K.O). NPT tapered threads permit installation in threaded boxes and a polyethylene gasket creates a concrete-tight seal. Additionally, this connector is insulated, protecting inner wiring from abrasion damage and up to a temperature of 105°C. Use this connector with 14/2 to 10/3 AWG jacketed MC/TECK cables. NEMA TYPE 2, 3, 3R, 4. DC2C versions are also NEMA TYPE 4X.
