Description

The Caseta ELV+ Smart Dimmer Switch with phase selectable dimming works with up to 250W of dimmable LED, 500W of incandescent/halogen/electronic low-voltage (ELV), or 400-Watt of magnetic low-voltage (MLV); Neutral wire connection and 10-Watt minimum load required for all load types. Out of the box, the dimmer is set to reverse phase for ELV/incandescent/halogen light loads. However, since it is phase selective, the dimmer output can be changed to forward phase for MLV lighting loads and other certain LED bulbs with simple button press programming. The Caseta ELV + dimmer features a preset button in the center to save and recall your favorite light level. Existing hardwired 3-way switches will not work with this dimmer, for 3-way and multi-location applications Pico remotes must be used with this dimmer. Replace an existing switch with a Pico remote control and wall plate adapter to dim from every location (PICO-WBX-ADAPT sold separately). Use the Lutron Smart Hub to connect the Caseta ELV+ Dimmer Smart switch to leading smart home devices - including Alexa, Apple Home, Google Home, Ring, Sonos, and more. Not only does the smart hub unlock smart control and device integration - but it also doesn't use Wi-Fi to control your lights. With the Lutron Smart Hub you stay connected even when your Wi-Fi goes down and you avoid slowing your internet speed down with more devices. Enable the Smart Away feature to randomly turn lights on and off, to make it look like you're home, even if you're away (Lutron Smart Hub, L-BDG2-WH required). Pairs perfectly with Lutron Claro wall plates for consistent color matching (sold separately).
