Description

Insulate submersible or direct buried dig-in repairs and secondary splices with this 3M™ 8420 Connector Insulator. It provides physical protection of lugs or connectors that are air-insulated and can be used on all solid dielectric cable splices and insulated wires. Use it for connectors and cables that have a diameter ranging between 0.31 to 0.56 in, and with conductors sized 6 to 4 AWG. The EPDM rubber construction is eco-friendly because it’s free of sulfur or chlorides. This cold shrink insulating product is ANSI Certified and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant for quality assurance.
