This bugle head screw has thinly spaced threads and an extra sharp point designed specifically for attaching drywall to metal studs from 25-20 gauge. Bugle head screws are great for drywall, because they provide a wider area than a typical flat head screw with a countersunk head and concave underside. The black phosphate finish provides corrosion resistance superior to phosphate-coated drywall screws without discoloring the wood.
