Description

Designed as a single- component, general fire-rated sealant/smoke seal for construction joints and through-penetrations. Can be used on metal, insulated pipe, fiberglass, plastic pipe, wall joint, power, telephone, and datacomm cables. Safe and easy to use and can easily be applied with a conventional caulking gun, trowel, or with pumping equipment. Cures to an elastomeric seal suitable where dynamic movement is expected. Highly intumescent caulk and designed for temperature applications of 120 degrees fahrenheit. Systems rated for 1, 2, 3 and 4 hours in accordance with ASTM E 814, UL 1479 UL 2079 and CAN/ULC-S115 standards. STC rating 62. No special skills required to apply this firestop sealant; no mixing or additives needed.
