Description

The NSI L4048 Copper Compression Long Lug features a standard installation hole sized for 1/2” mounting bolts and a chamfered port to terminate a 4/0 AWG conductor. Connectors are made from tin-plated copper for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance. The legible die index and purple color-coding make them easy to identify and they install easily with just a crimp tool. The closed barrel design is simple, reliably functional and sealed against moisture or contamination. When bonded, it creates a homogenous connection between the connector and conductor, forming a vibration-resistant, mechanically strong unit. Use for many applications including secondary power distribution in buildings, power plants, industrial applications or with electrical equipment.
