Description

8911 definite purpose starters are inexpensive starters for applications with relatively low duty cycles. Typical applications include air compressors, agricultural equipment, pumps, and HVAC equipment. The starter comes nonreplaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages as well as auxillary contacts. All definite purpose starters hav melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. This three pole definite purpose starter has a full load rating of 20 amperes. Starter is supplied with a 440/480 VAC 50/60 Hz coil. This starter has ratings of 1.5 HP at 115 VAC and 3 HP at 230 VAC single phase. It has rating of 7.5 HP at 230 VAC, 460 VAC and 575 VAC poly phase. This definite purpose starter is open style starter. 8911DPS definite purpose starters are UL component recognized.
