The Square D X Series 15A 125V Tamper Resistant Duplex Decorator Receptacle with side wire clamps provides a fast, safe way to update the look of your home's interior with new, modern receptacles. Enjoy fast wiring with “no-wrapping” screw installation and a self-grounding clip. Elevate safety with discrete, tamper resistant shutters that help keep inappropriate objects out of the socket. Complete the look with one of the Square D X Series cover plates (not provided) that easily snaps into place for a modern, flush-facing finish to your walls. Enjoy a consistent look across your room or home with the full line of Square D X Series switches, dimmers, sensors, and receptacles. The connection terminals of this outlet socket are push-in termination and screw terminal. Its matching mounting box can be recessed into the surface of the wall for flush mounting. This receptacle is tamper resistant with discrete black shutters. This socket outlet has a white frame. The self-grounding feature is a brass ground contact which provides ground retention to metal boxes that eliminates the need to use a ground screw. This socket has a width of 1.42 in (36 mm), a height of 4.06 in (103 mm) and a depth of 1.06 (27 mm). By satisfying the NEMA 5-15R, UL 498 standards, this socket outlet is cULus certified. X Series normalizes an array of new features, such as flush facing, easy installations, and connectivity, establishing a new benchmark for residential wiring devices.
