The Square D X Series 125V Tamper Resistant Electrical Outlet with LED Night Light with side wire clamps features a warm, sensor-enabled, 2700K LED light to help you navigate dark hallways, corners or rooms. Featuring a high-impact resistant, non-glossy, easy-to-clean thermoplastic body and rust-resistant zinc-plated steel mounting wrap for attractive, long lasting operation. Elevate safety with discrete, tamper resistant shutters that help keep inappropriate objects out of the socket. Wiring and installation is fast and easy with side wire pressure plates and ground wire pressure plate. Complete the look with one of the Square D X Series cover plates (not provided) that easily snaps into place for a modern, flush-facing finish to your walls. Enjoy a consistent look across your room or home with the full line of Square D X Series switches, dimmers, sensors, and receptacles. Its matching mounting box can be recessed into the surface of the wall for flush mounting. This receptacle is tamper resistant with discrete black shutters. This socket outlet has a white frame. The self-grounding feature is a brass ground contact which provides ground retention to metal boxes that eliminates the need to use a ground screw. This socket has a width of 1.65 in (42 mm), a height of 4.06 in (103 mm) and a depth of 1.38 in (35 mm). By satisfying the UL 498 standard, this socket outlet is cULus certified. X Series normalizes an array of new features, such as flush facing, easy installations, and connectivity, establishing a new benchmark for residential wiring devices.
