Energy Group Success Story: Twin Rivers Technologies
Twin Rivers Technologies located in Quincy, Massachusetts is one of the largest Oleochemical producers in North America. Working with the Granite City Electric Energy Group, Twin Rivers Technology did a full retrofit of all lighting inside and outside their corporate headquarters - spending roughly $340,000 on LED Lighting.
With a building fully lit with LED lighting, Twin Rivers Technology will be saving almost 900,000 watts of power - a reduction of approximately $130,000 annually in electrical costs. The lighting Lumens (visual light) is now 20% brighter while using almost 70% less energy use. The cost of maintaining/replacing the old lighting was also reduced to almost $0 ensuring a fast return on investment. Twin Rivers Technology enjoyed working on the project, stating the Energy Group was very professional and had an extensive knowledge of lighting.
